To promote the development of an educated, democratic society and foster civic participation and professional competitiveness in today's changing world, The Education Development Centre (EDC) offers a wide range of educational activities for different target audiences. One of the EDC's current projects in the field of media literacy is “Supporting Youth Media Literacy” which had been implemented from October 2017 till February 2019. To ascertain the readiness of the teachers of Latgale schools involved in this project to implement media literacy at schools, a survey of these teachers was conducted. The paper presents the first part of the study- opinions/ first impressions of the teachers of Latgale schools involved in the project about participation in this project.Downloads
