ASSESSMENT OF CLUSTERING POTENTIAL OF MANUFACTURING SECTOR OF VITEBSK REGION

The theoretical foundations of clusters are studied. The impact of clusters to the competitiveness of organizations is revealed. The structural elements of clusters have been identified. The definition of innovation-industrial cluster is proposed. Widely used method for identifying clusters are listed. The assessment of clustering potential of manufacturing sector of Vitebsk region is made on the basis of the analysis of the coefficients of localization by types of economic activity, per capita production by types of economic activity and specialization of the region on the given type of economic activity.Downloads
