Makhmudova Malik Tahirovna – Associate Professor of Department for Design of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after K.Behzoda (since 1977). Graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute as architect (1971), Postgraduate course of the Scientific - Research Institute of Art History, specialized on restoration of architectural monuments of Uzbekistan (1980), Extension courses in "Interior and Equipment" of Moscow Higher Artistic School named after Stroganov (1990). Since 1972 to 1977 employed by the Institute for Restoration (former Special Scientific restoration workshop) as architect-restorer, since 1977 till present as teachers of the course on the "History of the interior", "Theory and Methods of Design", "The interiors of residential and public buildings", "Design of Interiors", "Artistic equipment", "Basis of composition "and others of the National Institute of Arts and Design. K.Behzoda (formerly named TGHI named of Ostrovsky, Institute of M. Uygur), since 1997 to 1998 and 2008 to 2012 - Head of Department for Design of the the National Institute of Arts and Design named after K.Behzoda. Supervisor of more than 50 diploma bachelor’s works and master's theses. Author of more than 50 scientific and popular science articles on the history and theory of architecture and interior design, as well as a number of programs, textbooks and manuals on special subjects. Participant of national and international conferences.
