Mg.art., Rezekne University of Applied Sciences, an associated professor The trends of his scientific research are as follows: “Creative activity of pupils and students in visual arts and design work”, “Amateur and professional arts in Latgale in the situation of modern culture”. He has participated at several scientific conferences at Latvia and foreign higher education institutions and is the author of 18 publications (some scientific papers are available in the international data bases). As to his artistic activities, he is a member of the Artists Union of Latvia, he has had 8 solo exhibitions in Latvia and abroad and has participated in group exhibitions in Latvia and abroad (85 in total).
