Mg.paed., Riga Teacher training and Educatgional Management Academy, a lecturer In 1976 she graduated Moscow Lunacharsky Institute of Theatre Arts the faculty of theatre science, acquiriing the qualification of theatre scientist. In 1998 she acquired Master’s degree in education. Her critical reviews on theatre performances, seasonal reviews, problem articles, the portraits of the actors and others were published in Latvia’s mass media. She is an author of several books: “An Ironic Romanticist” (about the actor Valentins Skulme, 1997), “An Enigmatic Performer Lena” (about the actress Helena Romanova, 1999), “The poisoned by theatre” (about the kin of the Vazdiks, 2004), “The Kletnieki – with Make-up, without Make-up” (about the kin of the actors the Kletnieki, 2006), “The Youth Theatre” (2011). The present trend of research is concerned with history of Daugavpils theatre since its origin to nowadays.
